Hong Kong Day 1

Hmm.. So long since my last post... So many things to say about my trip to hong kong.. haha Let's start from Day 1.. The food on the plane from singapore to Hong kong really sucks... Yucks. :( Once we reached Hong Kong Airport, we searched up and down for our transportation company! Haiz.. SA tour told me go towards the right and in the end the company is right to the left... What the! Anyway, after finding our transportation Co, we have to wait for a few more passengers to report b4 proceeding to the pickup point. They must have been searching high and low for them too.

We are lucky enough as we are the 3rd group to alight.. leaving about another 4 groups onboard.. can you image how long will it take for the last group to reach their hotel.. We reached Hollywood Hotel at disneyland at about 2p.m... I proceeded straight to the hotel lobby for registration and check-in, but my hubby was stopped by the bellboy.. He says check-in can only be done at 3 p.m. So he asked us to deposit our luggage with them. So we immediately went straight to the pick-up point to take the disneyland bus that will bring us to disneyland park. Haha... The joke comes... when we were on the bus, i started to wonder if i need to collect any pass from the hotel receptionist for the entry to DIsneyland.. We are entitled to each a two-day pass to Disneyland.. Haha.. nvm, so i decided to give it a try by giving the receipt of my tour package to gain entry to disneyland.. once we alighted, we have to walk about 15 minutes walk b4 reaching the entrance of Disneyland, on the way, there were attractions for us to pose and take photos.. at last we reached the entrance, i went to the ticketing counter and he don't recognise my receipt and advise us to check with the hotel. Haiz... Sad...

So, we walked another 15 minutes back to the bus terminal. We waited for 5 minutes on the bus once again we were on our way back to hollywood hotel. It was 2.40 p.m. when we reached the lobby, and i wanted to give it a try for the check-in.. and they allowed.. Haiz.. I requested for high-floor, but they told me that ours is a standard room so it is located at level 2 and 3.. they have a total of 8 levels.. unless i wanted to upgrade to deluxe.. Therefore we proceed to our room with our breakfast voucher and tickets to disneyland... Once we enter our room, there was this huge and unbearable sound of cigarettes .. I can't stand it and immediately called the operator. They then placed an air-refresher machine in the room.. At about 3 p.m. , we immediately left for disneyland, hoping to catch the disney parade at 3.30 p.m. which was conducted only once a day.. we don't wanna miss it..

We were lucky... we found a hot-spot, (which meant a very warm area w/0 shelter) no other place available.. :( The parade was nice with lots of music and dance... My hubby said we should bring Eshelle along, she definitely will enjoy these.. Yah, i thought so too.. then i told him its our honeymoon lei... Although i so much wanted to bring eshelle..

We proceeded with our tour around disneyland.. just one incident to report for the entire tour... I actually took the indoor roller coaster with my hubby... OMG... i dislike taking them.. it was dark in it... i cant see where the coaster was heading to.. i meant really dark... i felt myself flying out of my seat.. I cried when i came out of the ride.. :(

We ended the night with 20 minutes of beautiful fireworks at the palace of wonderland... It was so beautiful, i wonder how much they spend on that... Day 2 coming up soon.. More jokes and silly things that happened on the way.... Look out for them at the next few posts... :)

My poor Hubby

Hubby has been working almost everyday since 1st of March! Poor him... He worked from 8.30 a.m. to abt 10.30 p.m. somedays... HE is always looking forward to reach home and gain a massage from me... He really enjoy the massage i gave him... relax his shoulders and neck... We are both so looking forward to our hong kong trip this sunday!!!

I really have a very bad sore throat and cough.. will they go away before i go hong kong.. i really hope to enjoy our mini honeymoon! PLease go away and leave me alone.

A hardworking-hubby's wife...

After so long...

Finally.. found a part time job!! Hmm... Although pay not that much... but still working fine with colleagues! 'Ripples'... I think that is the most important of all.. I will be working on every Tues and Thursday to Sunday... And on Monday, i will be teaching tuition and on wednesday, i will send Eshelle to 'I can read' and after that, will proceed down for my tuition again... So to summarize, i am working from Monday to Sunday...

Tmr going to bring Eshelle for her speech checkup already. Have to wake up very early to bring her there. Her appointment is at 9.20 a.m... See... early right... Hubby will have breakfast with me before i proceed down to taman jurong.

Yes!! I will be leaving for HONg Kong 2 weeks later.. so happy... So looking forward to that day... My mini honeymoon...

Reunion dinner at JSS

On last friday, my hubby and I went back to our secondary school and ate dinner with our secondary frens.,. Hmm what can i say... the food is bad.... Didn't had a good dinner... The firat dish... "Yu Sheng"... and they "lao" until we almost had nothing left to eat... and The joke of the night... Kailun was telling Caizheng if he wins TotO (10 million), he shall give her $1000 to buy a "victoria street" bra..... Haha.... It should be "victoria secret" bra... Caizheng was laughing so loudly that i used my hand to stop him from jumping up and down and accidentally gave him a scar on his nose... Poor him! Opps... Sorry.

After the dinner, we went prawning at a place near Jurong bird park.. didn't really note the name of the place.... I was playing so happily that i didn't want to go back... we "prawned" for 3 hours and returned back home... SO so happy!!!

'I can read!'

Finally, i have enrolled Eshelle into 'I can read' at Jurong east... $300 plus for 11 lessons... i brought her to the centre for an interview/diagnose... A teacher tested Eshelle on her English, and after 20 minutes.. the teacher gave the following statements...
* She has speech problems and advise to go look for speech theory and find out if she is really having problems.
* She is very mature and listens to teacher's instructions..
* She loves to express herself but is unable to deliver her words correctly..
She advised us to join a class for Eshelle to learn the phonics... and improve her pronunciation.. not bad har... i hope i can join too..
Went back and told her grandparents abt it... at last, i am bringing Eshelle to the polyclinic to get a referral to a government hospital for a speech checkup.. Eshelle will be attending 'I can read' class on every Wednesday 5p.m.! i will travel down to taman jurong and bring her there till i need to go back and study or find a job... So she will be in my care for the moment.. And when wei xin comes back from USA, i am gonna ask them to transfer Eshelle to a PAP school for her to study her K1 and K2... its better than her school now...
